Shivanand holds an MBA from IIM Kozhikode, a PGCHRM from XLRI Jamshedpur, and dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from BITS Pilani. As the Group Head of Learning & Development for EMAAR Properties in Dubai, he managed over 6,400 employees and built the L&D team from scratch post-COVID. He was instrumental in succession planning and rolled out LinkedIn Learning and a gamified learning app, RAPL. At Larsen & Toubro, he revamped the Leadership Development Program and introduced an employee podcast.
Shivanand also established Nutan College of Engineering and Research and has a background in consulting across various sectors. He is a three-time Indian National Mathematics Olympiad awardee and a recipient of several prestigious academic awards. He has impacted over 40,000 students through digital learning workshops and has backpacked across 47 countries and all regions of India.
